Boho California Superbloom Portrait Session

Earlier this year, the California Super Bloom was so incredible, that I knew I had to dream up something to showcase this phenomenon that I didn't want to end! I mean, I would drive on the highway and the entire hillside would be yellow or purple. Every blade of grass seemed to be bursting with vibrant green color; wildflowers covered weed patches near sidewalks... and you get the point. It was amazing! So, one of my best friends, my muse and fellow flower admirer was thankfully totally down to play dress up with me!

When Indy and I dreamed up her Boho Portrait Session, we knew above else that we wanted to use Viva Delfina's handcrafted butterfly crown in a field of flowers. The crown is amazing in person, and even came with added clips for a very organic touch! Once we had that, we added a boho Free People tunic dress and bracelets, silver flash tattoos and a bright red lip! This was absolutely one of the most fun afternoons frolicking through the flowers during golden hour and running in the sand at dusk. The images turned out even more magical than I could have imagined!
