UCSD Graduation Session with Marisa

You might remember Marisa and Hunter from their couples session at the mall last year! Well, you're about to see a lot more of these lovebirds since Hunter tagged along on Marisa's UCSD Graduation Session! It totally makes sense because they actually met and fell in love on this campus! They met in the commuter lounge, quickly became baes and I was lucky enough to witness this beautiful relationship blossom! We took photos in front of that building, got those classics of Marisa in her cap and gown and in the hot spots around campus, i.e. The Geisel Library. I love this building and have been wanting to shoot here forever!

What made it really extra special was hearing what these photos would mean to Marisa while we were taking them! She told me all about her dream to attend this University and how when she visited as a high schooler with her parents, she couldn't wait to take these pictures and be a graduate. We recreated some photos from that visit with the Dr. Seuss statue, more around the library and pretty greenery in the area, and then headed over the The Gliderport for a few more! I couldn't help but bring Hunter into a few of these because they would hang out here often, and let's be real: they're adorable together! Congrats on completing this milestone Marisa (and Hunter!). They've got jobs, moved in together and are making a life for themselves post college! I'm so happy we've remained friends and can't wait to see where this next chapter takes them!
